Chicken Cordon Bleu Noodle Casserole


🛒 Ingredients

  • 12 oz wide egg noodles

  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)

  • 2 cups diced ham

  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese


Sauce:

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper


Topping:

  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (or breadcrumbs)

  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Cook noodles

    • Boil egg noodles to just al dente

    • Drain and set aside

  3. Make the sauce

    • In a bowl, mix:

      • cream of chicken soup

      • milk

      • sour cream

      • Dijon mustard

      • garlic powder + pepper

        Mix it all together

    • In a large bowl combine:

      • noodles

      • chicken

      • ham

      • 1½ cups Swiss cheese

      • sauce

    • Stir until everything is coated

  4. Assemble

    • Pour into greased 9x13 dish

    • Sprinkle remaining Swiss cheese on top

  5. Add topping

    • Mix crackers + melted butter + Parmesan

    • Sprinkle evenly over casserole

  6. Bake

    30–35 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden

  • Assemble (no topping), cover, refrigerate up to 2 days

  • Freeze up to 2–3 months

  • Add topping fresh before baking


From frozen:

  • Thaw overnight → bake 40–45 minutes
