Cheesy Burger Patties

Updated: Feb 20

All the flavor of a juicy cheeseburger — without the bun. These cheesy burger patties are packed with seasoned ground beef and topped with perfectly melted cheese for a simple, satisfying meal that lets the meat shine.

Whether you’re eating low-carb, skipping bread, or just craving a fork-and-knife kind of burger night, this recipe delivers all the classic burger flavor in its purest form. Serve them alongside roasted veggies, a fresh salad, or your favorite homestyle sides for an easy weeknight dinner that’s hearty, comforting, and full of flavor.

Because sometimes… it’s all about the beef and cheese.

Cheesy Burger Patties

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 Cup PLF Colby cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. You’ll thank yourself later when cleanup is a breeze.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Colby cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, Add the Worcestershire sauce and mix until everything feels just right — not too dry, not too sticky.

Shape the mixture into 4oz Pattie’s . It helps to slightly dampen your hands to keep things from sticking.

Arrange the Pattie’s neatly on your baking sheet, then drizzle them lightly with olive oil. This gives them that gorgeous golden finish.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the Pattie’s are fully cooked and nicely browned. .sprinkle with extra Colby if desired,

Let them rest for a few minutes before serving — it helps lock in all those juicy flavors. Serve with favorite burger toppings.

Variation: I also like to substitute the Colby cheese with Swiss, substitute the Worchester sauce with A1, and top with onions and mushrooms for that patty melt vibe.

Good beef, simple ingredients, and a hot oven — that’s farm kitchen cooking.
